Kellyn Taylor Prepares for New York City Marathon with Chicago Half Marathon

Kellyn Taylor and Ben Bruce, training partners with the HOKA ONE ONE Northern Arizona Elite (NAZ Elite), are set to race Sunday's Chicago Half Marathon.

Taylor is in the middle of training for November's New York City Marathon. In May, she finished fourth at the Prague Marathon, running 2:26:27. Her last races came at the Toyota USATF Outdoor Championships, where she finished third in the 10,000 meters and 10th in the 5,000 meters.

Bruce, like Taylor, last raced at the USATF Outdoor Championships. He finished 16th in the 10,000 meters. In April, he paced another NAZ Elite athlete, Aliphine Tuliamuk, to a third-place finish at the Rotterdam Marathon. She ran a big personal-best 2:26:50. Bruce finished just behind her (43rd in the men's race).
